The hotel lends itself brilliantly for the test day with open access to the hotel throughout the day to make the most of the finest of Yorkshire hospitality. Hot food and drinks will be available from 9 am onwards.

There will be approximately 20 bikes on demonstration throughout the day and with a kick off time of 9:30am, everyone who comes along is guaranteed a ride. There will be 125, 250 and 290 models on demonstration, to book a ride please fill out this form, or ring us on 01246 453336.

All the MRS Sherco team will be demonstrating their skills throughout the day and it is safe to say that you are guaranteed to have a fun day out!

Harefield Hall will be serving food and drink throughout the day and night and once the rider/dealer presentations have been done all are more than welcome to join the night time entertainment.

Anyone trying a Bike must bring their own helmet and proper boots.

We have taken delivery of our very first 2012 model, which comes with many improvements over the 2011 model and is a perfect example of why Sherco are at the forefront of motorcycle trials.

One major change is the fitting of a Keihin PWK28 carb as standard on the 290 model, with a Dellorto PHBL26 on the 125 and 250 models.

A new improved ignition is by Hidria which is externally mounted.

The new front forks are by Tech which are lighter and feel a lot flusher especially on the bigger hits. The yokes have also been revised with smaller clamp bolts, neater machining on the bottom yoke and a lovely Gold anodised finish.

The improved R16V rear shock complements a new billet machined linkage system finished in gold. The swinging arm has also been machined out to allow room for the new linkage. On the bike the new rear suspension feels much more lively especially on the small bumps.

A repositioned radiator moves the steering yoke away from the radiator which enables for greater steering lock. The guard is now securely fastened on to the radiator using rivets and the new top cover hides the electrics for the fan and allows easier access to the thermostat.

A newly designed airbox is also present, which is much smaller and slimmer, which not only makes the bike look much neater in it's appearance but it also seals much better helping to keep any water, dirt out of the engine and due to it's design it allow the engine to breath much easier allowing greater performance from the engine. Notice in the last picture there is now a special one way water drain valve on the bottom of the air box just encase you drop it in the river.

A new trick looking and very light weight front pipe which weighs only 565 grams so it's 33% lighter than previous.

A new silencer is on the machine which has been tested by Sherco No.1 rider Albert Cabestany over the past few months with great results. It also features slightly beefed up mounting lugs which should help durability in the event of a crash.

A new stronger sump guard is standard, made with a slightly thicker Ergal Aluminium Alloy, it also has a new rubber guard made slightly thinker to help protect the engine.

One big improvement is the introduction of a petrol tap over the 2010 and 2011 bikes. This neat little tap also includes a reserve so you can be more confident when going out on longer rides as you will know when you are running low, it also has a inbuilt fuel filter to keep the dirt out of the pump.

All this is finished off with a new sticker kit which not only looks excellent but is made out of new material which are more adhesive and more scratch resistant. Along with anodized gold wheels and yokes this new 2012 Sherco is a great looking machine.
