Oilite sintered bronze plain bearing to fit the rear brake pedal of Sherco trials bikes.

The plain bush doesn't have the seals as found on the standard needle bearing, this allows a larger contact area with the bush giving the brake a much better feel due the increased rigidity at the brake pedal

The porous make-up of the bearing is used to retain oil for self lubrication during use.

Details

The hole through the bearing may, depending on the condition of the bore in the brake pedal, require a light sanding with emery or wet and dry after fitting to give the desired sliding fit for the sleeve. Some of the rear brake pedals have a poorly machined bore resulting in a very tight fit between the bearing and bush.
