Aluminium Shaft Clamp 5 to 16mm

Aluminium shaft clamps used to safely clamp shafts or round tubes in a vice without causing damage or distortion.

We use these to clamp the the shaft on a rear shock absorber, for when removing the end eye.

Before clamping the shaft I clean both the tool and the shaft with brake cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to make sure there is no oil and you get a better grip on the shaft, if the shaft spins in the clamp it will damage the surface of the shaft.
