Beta Evo Airbox Rear Rubber Flap

JA EVO Rear mud-flap-fitting.

This mud-flap is designed to look good, protect the shock absorber area and stop mud getting up the side of the silencer. Produced from Rally standard mud-flap material, it fits the existing EVO screw holes, but additionally uses the top silencer end cap screw, plus a self tapping screw just under the mudguard to give complete top to bottom protection. Trim the side edges a little if necessary to ensure the flap fits flush against the face of the swinging arm between the weld beads.

It has been noted that some youth riders of 125 EVOs secure the rear mudguard with cable ties to minimise mudguard breakage if the bike is looped. In this case it is better not to secure the top screw to the back of the rear mudguard as above, but to cut the mud-flap as shown and fit an additional self tapping screw through into the air-box.
