Float valve as found in the PHBL, PHBH and VHST Dellorto carburettors.
The needle valve controls the flow of petrol into the carburettor bowl maintaining the fuel height. This part can wear allowing fuel to enter the bowl even when it is full causing the engine to flood.
The number relates to the peak flow of the valve, you may require a larger size if for example the engine is running fine but during long full throttle openings to starts to run lean.
