Flywheel Woodruff Keyway 3 x 3.7 x 9.66mm
If your bike suddenly starts backfiring it may possibly be this flywheel key that has sheared causing the timing to be out.
Fits:
Sherco ST 125, 200, 250, 290 and 300cc Trials bikes
Scorpa SR and Twenty 125, 250 280 and 300 trials bikes
TRS Trials bikes
Ossa TR125i, TR250i, TR280i and TR300i from 2011 to 2015
GasGas TXT Pro, Racing, Raga, GP and Factory Replica
Beta Techno, Rev 3 and Evo trials bikes.
The woodruff key is only used to position the flywheel in the the correct place, the taper actually holds it in place, so make sure you clean the tapers up very well on both the flywheel and the end of the crank, use a clean rag and some brake cleaner. If there is any damage to either taper sort this out before refitting. Always torque the flywheel nut up to the manufactures specifications.
