Leonelli Magnetic Lanyard Kill Switch

Lanyard style engine stop button, the lanyard piece is held in place by a magnet so is easily pulled off in case of a fall.

Great for beginners, kids (and experts) as when you fall off the bike, the lanyard which you attach to your wrist pulls off the magnet stopping the engine.

It is compulsory by the ACU for all youth riders, and riders competing in the British Championships, to use a lanyard kill switch.

These are "Normally Open" switches, suitable for most petrol bikes. "Normally Open" means that when the magnet is in place, the circuit is open/disconnected. When the magnet is removed, it closes/connects the two wires together.
