Sherco / Scorpa Cylinder Base Gaskets - 2011 to 2022
Sherco Cylinder Base Gasket.
Fits:
250, 290 & 300 Shercos from 2011 to 2022.
Scorpa Twenty 250, 300 from 2014 to 2022.
The base gaskets are available in different thickness's to allow the correct squish clearance to be achieved. The thickest gasket is 0.5mm thick and is nearly always used, often with the thinner shim gaskets, stacked together.
The bikes have been known to come from the factory with up to 3 gaskets stacked together, each bike is different so you need to measure your own bike when replacing the base gasket.
We recommend you set your squish (this is the gap between the top of the piston and the cylinder head) to around
250cc 1.10mm
290cc 1.20mm
305cc 1.30mm
