Sherco 4T Keihin Needle Jet Holder SPS

The long brass tube that the main jet fastens into, it also secures the needle jet in position at the opposite end.

Sometimes know as a Emulsifier Jet or a atomiser tube as it mixes air in to the petrol helping the fuel is atomise when drawn in to the main air stream through the carburettor.

This part is larger both in length and width than standard Keihin part, this is due to the spring and valve that fit inside it, as it is larger it only fits the specially modified Sherco Prompt System (SPS) Keihin PWK 28 carburettors.

The SPS carburettor uses these special parts to give the carburettor a kind of accelerator pump, this helps to eliminate the slight hesitation that can be found on 4 stroke engines when the throttle is suddenly opened.
