Dellorto HH Type Atomiser Emulsion Tube

The HH type has small holes evenly spread around the whole tube allowing fuel to collect around the outside of this jet so when the throttle is opened the carburettor can deliver initially rich mixture as the fuel from around the jet is sucked through the lower holes, with the holes being evenly spread and small in size the excess fuel is slowly used up keeping the mixture more constant than the K type.

The number on the diffuser denotes the size of the hole at the top of the tube, where the needle enters, in hundredths of a mm i.e. 271 = 2.71mm.
